CQC - changing registration - England

This advice describes the circumstances that require you to change your CQC registration.

You must inform the CQC if changes at your practice affect your CQC registration – for example, when you:

  • Change your name or registered address
  • Add a practice at another location
  • Add or remove a partner (if registered as a partnership)
  • Add or remove a director (if registered as a company/organisation)
  • Change from one legal entity (sole trader, partnership or organisation) to another
  • No longer provide regulated activities or a provider has died.
